Hello! I’m Deniz and I love art. I always have, ever since I first held a pencil. Like all relationships, it has had its ups and downs, but more than three decades later, the fire still hasn’t gone out.
I was born in the Bavarian town of Weißenburg in 1990. I have no formal art education. In my 20s, I pursued a career in illustration, but life led me to IT instead.
As much as I’ve distanced myself from art-making after my professional ambitions fell through, I’ve found myself drawn back to it time and time again. Evidently, I have an innate desire for self-expression and exploration of self, and art is the means through which I engage in both.
